Before You Buy

You are welcome to hire Demwebs at anytime, however, we highly recommend that prior to doing so that you should compile all of the text, list of pages and add-ons desired and all images.  If you want to purchase a domain name, that is advisable and we can park it for you on a “coming soon” page with your logo.

What are you responsible for?

  • Clients must provide their own text, images, video, etc.  The content must be owned or used with permission by the client.  Copyright infringements result in immediate revocation of our services with absolutely no refund.
  • We HIGHLY RECOMMEND spending money on good high-quality photographs of yourself.  Get head-shots and full body shots.  Tell your photographer you want them on disc and we’ll do the rest.

What is the process?

  • Once we receive payment and all materials are provided we will acquire your domain name and establish website hosting for your new website.  We will then install the WordPress Content Management System (CMS) and then proceed to install your theme and any additional add-ons that you have requested.

How long until my site is done?

  • That is dependent upon the client.  We prefer our clients retain our services once they have all of their material together.  In this cases we can have you live online within hours.  If a client does not have the material prepared then it will take as long as it takes the client to gather the materials and submit them.  Demwebs will not start work until all materials have been submitted.

Can I update myself?

  • Yes!  Our themes operate on the WordPress Content Management System (CMS).  Adding pages, editing pages, deleting pages and much more can be done just as easy as sending an email.

Can I have a blog?

  • Yes, but we discourage campaigns from using blogging for several reasons but are happy to set it up for you.  Just remember that the more blogging you do the more you open yourself up for your opponents for find anything to use against you.

Do I get email?

  • Yes!!!  Each hosting and domain account comes with unlimited email accounts.  You@yourcampaign.com or whatever you choose!

What about email newsletters?

  • Most of our themes are compatible with our email newsletter system.  Please discuss this option with us prior to choosing a theme if having a newsletter is of importance.

Does it work with smartphones?

  • Most of our themes are smartphone compatible.

Can I Google me?

  • Yes!  Once the site is set up we will create a site map, set up Google analytics and keywords to ensure your new website is optimized for the major search engines.
